Bible Tag

(Not to be confused with Biblio-Tag)

One of my goals this year is to start studying my Bible more, and learning how to find things in it. (like the plethera of verses that the women from Bible study can just spout of off the tops of their heads). So here is my own tag game to help all of us with this endeavor.

Rule 1: Pick your 3 favorite bible verses (or short passages)

Rule 2: List them, but not where they are found in the Bible.

Rule 3: Tag 5 people

Rule 4: These people have to figure out where your verses are at, and why they think they are your favorites.

Rule 5: No cheating! (This really applies to me) You cannot plug the verse into a search engine. The only reference source you have is your Bible! (and it cannot be an online Bible)

Rule 6: Your taggees then list their verses on their blogs!

Does any of this make sense?

Here we go:

Passage 1

Praise the Lord

Praise the Lord from the heavens.

praise Him in the heights above.

Praise Him, all His angels,

praise Him, all His heavenly hosts.

Praise Him, sun and moon,

praise Him, all you shining stars.

Praise Him, you highset heavens

and you waters above the skies.

Let them praise the name of the Lord.

For He commanded and they were created.

Passage 2

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race that is marked out for us.

Passage 3

For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an oportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

What a fun way to get back into our Bible studies! Also, what a fun way to learn more about eachother!
