Nov 12 Paisley was month old. Now I have no idea how big she was on that day but today she weighed in at an even 10 pounds. Not too shabby. Nothing really else to say about her. She's still a newborn who spends her days (and nights) eating, pooping, sleeping, and crying. OK, that is one thing she has figured out how to do. She can really cry now. No more of that dainty hard to hear mewing of a cry but a full blown I am pissed off at the world and somebody better pay attention to me kind of cry.

Happy Birthday!!
After reading Jen's blog I realized that I never put anything up about Houston's birthday. Silly me! We celebrated it early this year by a week. This way his "Alaska Grandma" could be here for it. We also did it that way so that Mom could have the extra help. Houston's party was on the 20th of Oct. He invited two boys from church, Deo and Nathaniel. He knows Deo from sunday school and he has been best buds with Nathaniel for almost 2 years. The kids painted flower pots and mini-pumpkins. They got to take them home (of course) along with two baby spider plants to put in their flower pots. It was a big hit. I learned that last year that with a small group painting is always fun. We had lunch (pigs in a blanket and tater tots) followed by birthday cake. Grandma and Mom made an angel food cake with what was supposed to be green icing. (Houston's favorite color) but all Mom had was neon food coloring so it was more yellow than green. To make it a Larry Boy cake we put Houston's Larry Boy toys on top of it. Houston and the two boys had a lot of fun (Lorelei had fun too even though she didn't get to paint) A nice surprise for Houston was that "Texas Grandma) and Aunt Tammy and baby Carson showed up! We knew that they were going to try but as of the 19th we still had no confirmation. All in all it was a really nice day.
