It has been very puzzling for a few months now why my dryer kept running slower and slower. Eventually a 50 minute load to dry was taking 90 minutes. I cleaned out the area in the dryer that the lint trap sits in several times and that didn't help. I inspected the hose and the outside vent and at the time didn't see anything unusual. Yesterday when Brian was filling in holes, he happened to look up into the vent at just the right angle and found a bird's nest.
